Located on the ‘always-sunny- north coast’ of Mauritius, set in a beautiful tropical garden you will enjoy Mauritian way of life. The best of course is the beach with the famous and spectacular blue of the Indian Ocean. Merville Beach offers a wonderful beach all year around with great swimming for adults and kids alike.
The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen, a guest toilet and dining and living area.
The terrace with sea view and outdoor furniture will be your favorite place to relax. Position your sun lounger directly on the beach or in the shade of a tropical tree.
A Weber grill is at your disposal and nothing can beat a relaxed barbecue with your favorite holiday drink right on the beach.
On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms, all air conditioned. Two bedrooms offer a balcony with sea view.
The sandy beach just at your doorstep has it all. Small children will play safely in the shallow waters and passionate swimmers will swim your length in this incredible blue water, calm and safe.

FIVE stars….Amazing Stay! Superb location – the best part of the beach and best sunset in Grand Baie (others would come from up and down the beach to swim just in front of us because we had the best spot). Private part of the beach, plenty space, and well looked after – what the ad doesn’t tell you is that you have a maid each day that stays on top of dishes and dirty clothes, and Amelie can offer great contacts for reasonable car hire and airport transit. Amelie and the rest of the crew helped make this an effortless and great value location.
When I first came to this website, the lack of recent reviews offered me some concerns, but I checked Facebook and saw it was an active company so got in touch with Amelie…. and I’m so glad I did! So much was beyond what was expected – very happy and looking forward to booking again!
I HIGHLY recommend the underwater sea walk in Grand Baie (haven’t laughed so much in years), as well as the catamaran trip to the northern 3 islands…. and, if nothing else, you have an AMAZING location to just enjoy the views and shifting colours.

Very secure and private on a beautiful beach. Fantastic sunsets and a place to relax and enjoy the warm Mauritian waters. Will definitely stay at the Homely Villa on my return.
