FORCE MAJEURE INFORMATION
In 2020, as a “goodwill gesture” (clause 7.6.6. Force Majeure), we refunded all guests in full, without processing fees, as no one could have foreseen such a pandemic.
Following the declaration of COVID-19 as a global pandemic by the World Health Organisation, the extenuating circumstances rule no longer applies,
because COVID-19 and its consequences are no longer unforeseen or unexpected.
Should a similar situation as in 2020 of a Covid-19 pandemic occur, the property owner might consider to offer a credit for the booked house.
Sanitary measures imposed by the Mauritius Tourism Authority are publised on our web site and communicated to our guests. They are meant to be followed by owners and travellers.
